About Us

As a young man in the funeral profession, it became my dream to own and operate my own funeral home. After working with other firms, I felt I had the knowledge and dedication to open my own funeral home. I began looking at the options and decided that I needed to find a good location and give my community a modern facility with off-road, paved parking for their convenience, and at the same time give them not only another funeral firm in the community, but also a friend that they could call on in their time of need.

My parents, Gene and Jean Hancock, were a great help to me when opening the funeral home. They stood behind me and supported me through it all. My dad died shortly after the funeral home was opened due to a battle with cancer, but my mother is still one of my strongest supporters. She is also at the Funeral Home on most days and a great help and supporter. 

My wife, Lisa, is also a great support and help at the funeral home. She is always the one to get up with me on those late night calls and is always encouraging me and keeping me on my toes.

I am very fortunate to have the best staff of people helping out with every aspect of the business, and supporting me all the way.
