David Arlin Scott, 72, passed away on March 1, 2023 at Piedmont Columbus Hospital. He was born on March 5, 1950 to the late Forrest Scott and Ruby Mayo Scott in Richland, GA. Mr. Scott was a retired State Fire Marshall and served in the National Guard. He was currently serving as Webster County Commissioner for District 2 where he has served for 23 years
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 04, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Preston City Cemetery with Rev. Robert Orr and Rev. Paul Coats officiating.
Survivors include his wife Peggy Johnson Scott; his sons Michael (Katha) Scott of Richland, GA & Brody (Kimberly) Scott of Cuthbert, GA; his daughter Jamie (Scott) Rogers of Preston, GA; his sister Brenda Brown of Milledgeville, GA; his grandchildren Sydney Scott, Houston Scott, Katie Rogers, Cohen Rogers, Xander Scott & Zoe Scott
He was preceded in death by his parents
