Julian Wayne Minick, age 65, of Preston, died Monday, October 31, 2016 at his home. He was born April 15, 1951 in Richland to the late Thad Minick, Sr. and Julia Christian Kisor Minick. He was a loving father and grandfather, and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Marshall Lodge #188. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Minick. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Webster County. Rev. Raymond Smith will officiate the service. Survivors include his three daughters: Misty and Bryan Dale of Preston, Joni Asbell of Locust Grove, and Cassie and Thomas Bentley of Preston; a brother, Thad Minick, Jr. of Preston; and two sisters: Linda Foreman of Parrott and Denise Willis of Americus.
