Walter Henry Walker, Sr., age 83 of Preston, GA passed away on Sunday October 16, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Walker was born on November 07, 1938 to the late Albert & Fannie Walker, Sr. in Pittsview Alabama. Walter was a devoted Husband and Father. He was an avid hunter, who loved fishing and his family.

Visitation will be held at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel on Thursday October 20, 2022 from 12:00-1:30 p.m., with a Graveside service to follow at Preston City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Kyle, Jared, Polo, Jacob, Eric, and Ron.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lonita Walker of Preston; two sons, Walter (Judy) Walker of Preston, Al (Angela) Walker of Phenix City; Grandchildren, Jessica, Holly (Jared), Erica (Kyle), Lee (Candice), and Brandi (John); Great Grandchildren, Eric, Jacob, Audrey, Isaac, Polo, Landen, Deven, Kyle, Harper, Ellie, Walker, Tucker, and John. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
