Donald Earl Tucker
July 12, 1946 – August 17, 2025
Donald Earl Tucker, better known as "Tucker," was born July 12, 1946, in Vernon, Florida, to the late Lynwood and Ada (Benton) Tucker as a twin. He grew up in Chattahoochee, Florida, and graduated from Chattahoochee High School.
He worked for Suber Cattle Company in Quincy, FL, for over 20 years running their hog farrowing operation until it closed. He later took a job in Wildwood, Florida, as Ranch Manager for Monarch Ranch-Northern Trust Company for 15 years until his accident, after which he and his wife moved to Americus, GA, to be closer to loved ones.
Tucker was an avid hunter and fisherman. His greatest joy was the outdoors. He commercial fished as well as fished for pleasure. Being with nature and anything outdoors was what he loved the most in life. He made lifelong friends through hunting and fishing.
