Tonya "Toni" Meredith McCardle, 55, of Americus, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her home. She was born October 19, 1962 in Columbus to the late Archie Q. Meredith and Evelyn Rose Meredith. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed gardening, reading, riding motorcycles and trips to the beach. She was a devoted member of Williams Road Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Williams Road Church of Christ with Rev. Keith Wishum officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Americus. Survivors include her husband of thirty-six years, Mark McCardle of Americus; a daughter and son-in-law, Angel and Christopher Culpepper of Warner Robins; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark Alan and Jennifer McCardle of Springfield; and three grandchildren: Kobe Culpepper, Lily McCardle, and Sara McCardle. Also surviving are two sisters and brothers-in-law: Patricia and Jim Waites of Phenix City, AL, and Rebecca and Larry Bush of Franklin, TN; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Williams Road Church of Christ, 110 Williams Road, Americus, GA 31709 or to The Scott Law Foundation, 205 E. Lamar St., Americus, GA 31709.
