Tommy Horn, 54, of Preston died Tuesday, Feburary 5, 2019 at his home. A native of Sumter County, he was born June 20, 1964 to the late John Nevin Horn, Sr. and Lilly Doris Cox Horn. He loved spending time with his family and worked hard to take care of them. He also enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and building things. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, February 8th at the family home at 55 Rural Hill Church Road in Preston. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Horn of Preston; four sons: Neil Horn, Russell and Christina Horn, John Horn and Allison Moody, and Jake Horn and Whitney Delk, all of Americus; and two sisters: Catherine and Ernie Curry of Vienna, and Angie Horn and Nick Graham of Dexter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: John Nevin Horn, Jr. and Marvin Horn. Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
