Timothy Allen Strickland, 58, of Ellaville, Georgia passed away Friday, November 25, 2022.

Timothy loved spending time with his grandchildren and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He retired from Wayne Adams & Sons after 37 years of service where he worked hard and provided for his family.

Timothy's loving and caring heart will be greatly missed. He loved woodworking, watching the Andy Griffith Show, and watching old Westerns. He was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers and scratch-off lottery tickets. Timothy also enjoyed snacking on gummy bears and drinking sweet tea.

Timothy is survived by his wife: Gwendolyn Strickland; daughters: Amanda Brooke Strickland & Tara Hyte; mother: Louise Pritchard Dowdey; brothers: Arthur John Strickland & Rick (Denise) Strickland; sister: Tammy (Phillip) White; grandchildren: TC Hood Jr & TJ Hood; furbabies: Cotton & Ruger; mother-in-law: Marcia Meeks; sisters-in-law: Jessica Nobles & Melisia Jordan; brother-in-law: Maxwell Kelley.

He was preceded in death by his father: Arthur John Strickland; son: Timothy John Strickland; step-father: Sonny Dowdey; brother-in-law: Chester Jordan.

Celebration of life services will be held Thursday, December 1 at 2:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel.
