Steven Scott Ragusa, 58, of Plains, Ga., passed away at his home on Sunday, November 12, 2023, after a long battle with cancer.

Steven was born on March 7, 1965, in Baton Rouge, La., to Jake Thomas Ragusa and Dolores Ragusa Sparacino.

A memorial service will be held at Community Bible Church, 8354 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, La., on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 3pm a Visitation will be held prior at 2pm.

Survivors include his wife Lisa Joyce Ragusa; his mother and step-father Dolores Ragusa and Paul Sparacino; his son Landon and wife Ariana Ragusa; his daughter Caitlin Ragusa; his siblings and in-laws Danny and Laura Ragusa, Sonya and Matt Raymond, Jeffrey and Susan Ragusa, Cristi and Tony Ragusa and sister-in-law Danette Ragusa; granddaughter Riley Coogle and a host of nieces and nephews.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Jake "Buddy" Ragusa II, and his brother Jake Ragusa III.
