Sherri Layne Bullard, age 52, of 1280-C Youngs Mill Road, Plains, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at her residence. Born February 20, 1963, Mrs. Bullard was the daughter of J.C. "Wolf" Buchanan and Frances Buchanan of Plains who survive her. Mrs. Bullard was manager of McDonalds on Hwy 280 West. She loved fishing and drag racing. She was a proud grandmother and enjoyed making people happy. She was of the Baptist faith. Services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with Bro. Sammy Curry officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service and at other times friends may call at the family residence or at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Buchanan, 266 Buchanan Road. The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to Phoebe Sumter Hospice, 126 E Furlow St, Americus, GA 31709. Survivors other than her parents include her husband, Richard Bullard of Plains; three sons, Joey Blaine of Americus, Brian Blaine and Cody Lee, both of Plains and one step-son, Shane Bullard and his wife April of Oglethorpe. One sister, Terri Smith of Plains; one grandchild, Chloe Blaine and six step-grandchildren, Laura Bullard, Destiny Bullard, Brandon Bullard, Katie Bullard, Brianna Bullard and Dakota Bullard.
