Sherrell M. Britt of Hamlin W.V., formerly of Americus GA., passed away: December 27, 2018 at the age of 78. Born July 7, 1940, the daughter of the late Millard Fillmore and Hazel Ramsey Martin, she was a member of Eastern Star, West Hamlin United Methodist Church and also attended First Baptist Church of Hamlin. She is survived by her husband; Charles Evans Britt of Hamlin W.V., one son; Chuck (Mary) Britt of Fortson, GA., one daughter; Templyn (Darren) Averett of Simpsonville, S.C., one brother; Jolley Martin of Staunton, VA., one sister; Naomi Homan of Merced, CA., three grandchildren; Savannah Britt, Lauren Averett and Ryan Averett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Millard F. Martin Jr., John L. Martin and Norman Martin and one sister; Marlene Taylor. Services are tentatively scheduled for Friday, January 4th at 2:00 at Andersonville National Cemetery.
