Shelby Delores Whitlow Griner, 74, of Americus, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at her home. She was born September 10, 1942 in Lynchburg, VA, to the late Archie Hendricks and Dorothy Whitlow Paul. Services will be private. Mrs. Griner is survived by two daughters: Vickey (Ken) Phillips of Byron and Mary Rogers; two brothers: John (Yolanda) Paul and Frank Paul, all of San Diego, CA; and four sisters: Barbara (Larry) Reynolds of Lynchburg, VA, Betty Hamilton, Lyndi Bilyue, and Merri (Jay) Gresch, all of Richmond, VA. Also surviving are two grandsons: Paul (Rachel) Griner and Jeremy Griner; and five great-grandchildren: Christian Stevens, Cerila Griner, Nichlos Griner, Taylor Griner, and McKenzie Thomas.
