Sarah Elizabeth Harris Passmore, age 80, of 1107 Douglas Circle, died at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center July 14, 2012. A native of Preston, she was born October 30, 1931, the daughter of the late Bartho Poley and Evia Mae Cooper Harris. She was a Pink Lady with Phoebe Sumter Medical Center and loved gardening, cooking and being a mother. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. William Hall officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, July 16, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel and at other times 1107 Douglas Circle. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Phoebe Sumter Auxiliary, 126 Hwy 280 W., Americus, GA 31709. Survivors include a daughter and her fiancé Helen Swiger and Craig Conley of Americus; a son, Harold Hargrove of Americus; three grandchildren, Marie and Lance Cornell, Jimmy Swiger and Kansas Conley; and six great grandchildren, Alstin Cornell, Charlie Cornell, Helena Cornell, Alec Swiger, Mariska Swiger and Brock Swiger.
