Sara Virginia "Ginny" Hart departed this life on March 14, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is survived by her sons Matt and Michael, grandchildren, siblings Henry, Melanie, and David, and many grieving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Sara. Ginny was a native of Americus, Georgia and entered Andrew College at age 16. She graduated with a bachelor's and masters degree from the University of Georgia. Ginny was first a teacher, and then was in the insurance business for over three decades. She was a devoted Christian and mother. She died from complications of a hyperthyroid storm. A graveside funeral service will be held on March 20, 2016, Palm Sunday, at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery, 1256 Highway 280 at Huntington Road, Americus, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
