Sandra Marie Willis, age 82, of Americus, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who brought love and warmth to all who knew her.

Sandra was married to her beloved husband, Marvee Willis, for 64 years. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her son, Dewey (Michelle), and a proud grandmother to her grandsons, Kyle (Ashley) and Chase. She also leaves behind a cherished great-grandson, Aidan.

She is also survived by her dear sisters, Jody Simpson and Denese Rooks, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Sarah Thomas, and her brother, Mike.

Sandra was a faithful member of Greater Vision Baptist Church, where she found comfort in her faith and built lifelong friendships.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel.

The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Following the service, Sandra will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greater Vision Baptist Church (135 New Era Road, Americus, GA 31709) or Phoebe Sumter Hospice in honor of Sandra's life and legacy.

The family will also receive guests at the home of Dewey and Michelle Willis, 456 GA Hwy 49 North, Americus.

Sandra will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her kindness, love, and faith will continue to inspire those she leaves behind
