Sally Louise Dorrity Ethridge, 77, of Americus, died Monday, November 5, 2018. A native of Ocilla, she was born August 12, 1941 to the late John Brookins Dorrity and Sara Virginia Morgan Dorrity. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She never met a stranger and she loved gardening and working in her yard. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus with Rev. Mark Carter officiating. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Ethridge of Americus; three daughters: Jodi Vaughan of Palmetto, FL, and Michelle (Michael) Blantz of Americus; and Becky (Howard) Tyler of Acworth; one son, Jamey (Nicole) Vaughan of Senoia; step-son, Michael Ethridge of Dahlonega; and a sister, Geraldine Arnold of Centerville. Also surviving are grandchildren: Jonathan Wallace, Rachel Vaughan, Brookins Vaughan, Tommy Blantz, Megan Blantz, Nichole Wilson, and Logan Tyler. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
