Rose Marie McElroy, age 58, of Leslie, passed away at Phoebe Sumter on Thursday, November 26, 2020. A native of Cordele, Rose was born February 28, 1962, to the late Oscar Gilbert and Mary Lane. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, December 01, 2020 at 11:00AM at Life Point Church with Rev. James Womack officiating. She is survived by her husband Joe McElroy of Leslie; two sons Joshua McElroy of Leslie and Eric Gilbert of Leslie; one daughter Joy Hernandez of Plains; mother Mary Lane of Leslie; three sisters Carolyn Parham of Vienna, Linda Morrison of Cordele, and Diane Lowe of Cobb; also surviving are seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 5901 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd. Atlanta, GA. 30328.
