Rodney Larry Brown, 69, of Leslie died Sunday, June 2nd at his home. A native of Albany, he was born September 12, 1949 to the late Henry Lewis Brown, Jr. and Mary Ernestine Lowery Brown. He was an Engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad, loved drawing and building things with his hands. All services will be private. Survivors include three sons: Rodney Brown of Americus, Jeffrey Brown of DeRidder, LA, and Paul Brown of St. Louis, MO; four sisters: Carol Reno of Leesburg, Vickie Loyless of Smithville, Donna Law of Leslie, and Kim Miller of Dawson; and a brother, Allen Brown of Ellijay. Also surviving are two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynda Morrison Brown; and a brother, Charlie Brown. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer's Association, South Georgia Regional Office, 225 East 2nd St, Tifton, GA 31794. Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
