Robert Steve Miller, age 69 of Richland, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at his residence. A native of Stewart County, born Feb. 22, 1950, the son of the late William and Bonnie Miller of Louvale, Ga. He was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church in Richland, where he was a deacon and worked in many areas of the church where he was needed. He was much loved by everyone who knew him and could make you laugh, even when you were down. He was the greatest PaPa to Madison and Bryce, just ask them, they will tell you, "He could fix and do anything." Steve was retired from Fort Benning Civil Service after 30 years as a tool and dye maker/machinist. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11:00 am at Enterprise Baptist Church in Richland with Rev. Tim Cadenhead and Rev. Robert Orr officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, August 2, 2019 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. Serving as Pallbearers are Darrell Odom, Rodney Odom, Gordon Smith, Kelly Bennett, Mike Blanton, Anthony Shelton, Tim Randall and Lennox Escabar. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Diane Wilder Miller of Richland; a daughter, Terri M. Langford of Georgetown; a foster son, Tim Randall of Pensacola, Fl.; two grandchildren, Madison and Bryce Langford; two brothers, William A. Miller, Jr. (Linda) of Cusseta and Glenn Miller of Columbus; two sisters, Sherry Potter of Braddock, PA., and Debra Wood of Willacoochee, GA.; two aunts, Frances Miller of Louvale and Louise Shaw of Rome, GA. and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Morgan and Velma Miller.
