Robert Lewis "Bobby" Rogers, Jr., age 76, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023 in Preston, Georgia. Bobby was born October 26, 1946 to the late Robert Lewis Rogers, Sr. and Mary Katherine Rogers in Cuthbert, GA. He was a retired farmer and worked for the AFCS Agriculture Office. Mr. Rogers enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, cooking, looking for arrowheads and spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held at the family residence 259 Dacus Street Preston, GA 31824 on Wednesday August 9,2023 from 6-8PM. Graveside services will be held at Preston City Cemetery on Thursday August 10, 2023 at 11:00AM with Rev. Raymond Smith and Rev. Chris Hess officiating.

He was survived by his wife Linda Rogers of Preston; his sons Scott (Jamie) Rogers of Preston, Stephen (Jennifer) Rogers of Americus; his daughter Sandi (Willie) Filmore of Columbus; his grandchildren Katie Rogers, Cohen Rogers, Hunter Pearce, Daveon Filmore, Hayden Rogers and Grayson Rogers

Pallbearers include Cohen Rogers, Hunter Pearce, Daveon Filmore, Hayden Rogers, Grayson Rogers and Payton Johnston

He was also preceded in death by his parents
