Mr. Richard Dick Zabadah, Sr., age 81, died Wednesday, January 14, 2008 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. A native of Stark County, Ohio, Mr. Zabadah was born September 28, 1927, son of the late Paul Zabadah and Anna Borda Zabadah. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Merchant Marines and was of the Methodist faith. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, January 16, 2008 in Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany with Rev. Walter Flint officiating. The family will receive friends at the family residence, 906 South Lee Street, Americus. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Chehaw Council Endowment, Boy Scouts of Americus, P. O. Box 469, Albany, Ga. 31706. Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Carole Zabadah of Americus; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and David Satterfield of Destin, Florida and Anne and Mark Barrett of Leslie; one son, Richard Zabadah, Jr. of Albany; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
