Richard "Dick" Sanders, 85, of Plains, died Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Lillian Carter Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born January 16, 1933 to the late Tom Richard Sanders and Maude Watson Sanders. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus with Rev. Dennis Stalvey officiating. Survivors include his sister-in-law, Caroline Sanders of Andersonville; and nieces and nephews: Tommy Carter, Kay Athon, and Eddie McLaughlin, all of Americus, and Carol Smith of Richland. Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel is in charge of these arrangements.
