Rachel Tara Titshaw Biery Rachel Tara Titshaw Biery went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 6, 2011. She was born on March 11, 1983 in Americus, Georgia, and grew up in Sumter and Lee Counties. She graduated from Lee County High School and attended Georgia Southwestern State University and Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, GA, graduating cum laude in 2005 with a B.S. in Marketing. Tara loved the water and gravitated to the coast living in Savannah, GA, Beaufort, SC and Charleston, SC. She was beautiful, kind, compassionate, and loving; and everyone she met called her friend. Her creative nature and free spirit were reflected in her loving personality and many pursuits, including, cooking, writing, painting, traveling, and especially loving others. Tara is survived by her mother and step-father, Claire Pryor Peeples and Boyce Peeples of Leesburg, father Curt Titshaw of Cordele, and Grandmother Mrs. Herman Titshaw of Cordele. Tara is also survived by numerous close relatives including Cindy Pryor; Spence Pryor; Aaron Titshaw; Robert, Jenny and Dallas Pryor; Aaron Pryor; Spence, Lissa, Olivia and Madeleine Pryor; Charles, Becky and Miller Ann Pryor; Oliver and Katie Pryor; Misty, Jeff, Grayson and Baxley Jones; Sally, Jim, Sarah, Mary Margaret and Sam Taylor; Mary, Les, Bennett, James and Howell Souter, as well as many other cousins and friends. All will miss her caring and loving presence. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Spencer Pryor, Sr. and Mr. H. C. Titshaw. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 15th at 3:00 PM at Leslie United Methodist Church, with a visitation following the service at the church .
