Polly Blair Seymore Hutchinson, 90, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin, GA. A native of Sanford, NC she was born June 28, 1926. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Americus and the WMU. Mrs. Hutchinson was also an honorary and active member of the Junior Welfare League, and a member of the Dogwood Garden Club and the Americus Literary Club. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 at Salem United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service, from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., in the fellowship hall of the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The League of the Good Samaritan or Salem United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sheron & Rick Wood of Griffin, GA; her daughter-in-law, Donna Hutchinson of Newnan, GA; and a brother, Stephen Seymore of Myrtle Beach, SC. In addition, she leaves behind three grandchildren: Tyler Hutchinson, Matthew (Mandi) Wood, and Whitney (Robby) Freeman; and three great-grandchildren: Finley Freeman, Rob Freeman, and Mayson Wood. Mrs. Hutchinson was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. "Hutch" Hutchinson; and her son Edward L.
