Phyllis Ann Stewart Brown, age 58, of 220 U. S. Hwy 280 West, died at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center Thursday morning, July 10, 2014. A native of Albany, Ga., she was born March 31, 1956, the daughter of the late James Leroy Stewart and Ethel Lee Bennett Stewart. Ms. Brown was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church and was the owner of Phyllis' Tax Service for 24 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014, at 5:00 PM at Rehobeth Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 12, 2014, from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. Survivors include three daughters, Shauna Brown of Americus, Misty Brown of Americus, and Lacey Marsolf of Phenix City, AL; a sister, Jennifer Hamil of Florida; and five grandchildren.
