Phillip Brent Olsen Phillip Brent Olsen, age 54, of 2001 S. Lee St., died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A native of Covington, he was born September 11, 1958. He was of the Baptist faith. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. William Hall officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Susan and Steve Lashley on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to League of the Good Samaritan, Magnolia Manor, 2001 S. Lee St., Americus, Ga. 31709. Survivors include his Step-father, Charles Allen; two sisters, Susan and Steve Lashley of Americus and Linda and Willie Barwick of Ellaville; nieces and nephews, Katie and Kelley Andrews, Tyler Simmons, Dexter Lashley and AJ Lashley; and several great nieces and nephews.
