Phillip "Buck" David Eckert, age 53, of Parrott, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at his residence. A native of Dawson, Buck was born July 21, 1967 to Charles Eckert and Joyce Jones. He was a member at Macedonia Baptist Church. Buck loved to work with his hands and could build anything. He enjoyed fishing. Per family's request, services will be private, due to COVID 19. Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Eckert of Parrott; father Charles Eckert of Buena Vista; mother and step father, Joyce and Johnny Jones of Plains; two brothers, Stanley(Rhonda) Eckert of Parrott and Chuck(Angie) of Buena Vista; two nieces, Tiffany(Kenneth) Christopher of Buena Vista and Anna Eckert of Buena Vista; and a nephew Dustin Eckert of Buena Vista. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Plains Methodist Church 301 W. Church St. Plains, GA. 31780.
