Paula H. Rogers passed onto eternal life on December 13, 2019 at Magnolia Manor in Americus, GA. Paula was born to Julian & Sephalee Hunter in Fitzgerald on December 19, 1947. She graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1966, and attended Georgia Southern in Statesboro, GA. Paula loved doing crafts and sharing what she made with family and friends. She did tatting, crewel embroidery, crocheting, knitting, and was an accomplished cook. Paula was involved in her church with her children and the scouting programs, attending Central United Methodist Church in Fitzgerald, GA. Paula is survived by her children and their spouses; Kimberly (Brandon) Comer of Americus and Browne (Jeanie) Harper of Fitzgerald; her grandchildren Davis and Delaney Comer of Americus; her sisters and their spouses Judy (Joe) Hunter-Hill of Fitzgerald and Cissy (John) Lane of Milledgeville, and nephew John Hunter Lane of Atlanta, GA. Paula's parents preceded her in death as well as the father of her children by her first marriage, Gary Harper, and late husband Royce Rogers. A celebration of life and casual gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church Chapel in Fitzgerald, GA.
