Patricia Larson, age 73, died at her residence Sunday afternoon, April 19, 2009. A native of Escanaba Michigan, she was born October 31, 1935, a daughter of the late Donald Hamilton and Judy Lapine. She was employed with Americus Construction Company for over 18 years and a member of St. Marys Catholic Church. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 22, 2009 in the chapel of Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with Rev. Hugh Harbort officiating. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to United Hospice of Cordele, 708 E. 16th Street, Cordele, Ga. 31015. The family will receive friends at the residence of Marty and Sandy Larson, 1093 Shiloh Road, Americus. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Kelly Swain, Kandy Johnson and Bobby all of Americus; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Marty Larson and Sandy, Kurt Rutherford all of Americus, Kevin Rutherford and Janet of Jacksonville, FL, Kerry Rutherford of Port Charlotte, Fl and three sisters, Karol Grier of Geneva, Il, Jackie Eveland of Mattoon, Il and Dorr Hallock of Kewanee, Il. Nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.
