Anna Patricia "Pat" Williams, age 63, of Leslie, died at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. A native of Americus, she was born November 7, 1955, the daughter of the late George Herbert and Eugenia Chappell Laing. Mrs. Williams was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and also Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She was a secretary for the State of Georgia by profession. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Samuel Aniekwe officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, July 5, 2019, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers include Joe Warcewicz, Chris Harnage, Rob Rush, Calvin Schramm, Jim Muench and Jesse Williams. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Lung Association, Mail Processing Center, 6852 Belfort Oaks Place, Jacksonville, FL 32216-6241 or Make-A-Wish Georgia, 1775 The Exchange SE, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30339. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, John Williams of Leslie; two daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine (Chris) Harnage of Leesburg and Anna Laing (Joe) Warcewicz of Sarasota, FL.; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary (Tucker) Rush of Americus; a brother and sister- in-law, George (Kay) Laing of Vancouver, WA.; and five grandchildren, Hailey and Cody Howard, Connor Harnage and John and Aiden Warcewicz.
