Nell Powell Robinson, age 65, of 130 Lonnie Lane, Americus, died at her residence Wednesday, January 26, 2011. A native of Ellaville, she was born August 9, 1945, the daughter of the late Allmon and Inez McGill Powell. Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker, an active member of Bethel Baptist Church, had a big heart and loved gardening and animals. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011, at 1:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Golden officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and William Storey of Thomaston, three sons and daughter-in-law, Chuck Robinson of Americus, Matt and Monaca Robinson of Cochran and Greg Robinson of Minnesota; two sisters, Mary Miles of Americus and Eugenia Jarrell of Cheyenne, WY.; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
