Mrs. Nancy Bell Anglea Willis, age 83 of 2001 South Lee Street Americus, died at her residence on Sunday, October 4, 2009. Mrs. Willis was born March 31, 1926 the daughter of the late Alfred Baker and Nellie Aldona Anglea in Nashville TN. She was a member of Lee Street United Methodist Church in Americus GA. Mrs. Willis lived in Lakeland, FL for 42 Years before moving to Americus in 2004. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October, 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Andersonville National Historic Site with the Rev Matt Stewart and Rev Hugh DeLoach officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Gail and Bob High, 109 Salem Woods in Americus. Mrs. Willis is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Willis, of Americus, one daughter and son-in law, Gail and Bob High, of Americus, GA, one son and daughter-in-law Gary and Nancy Willis, of Lakeland, FL. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Jacob High, Erin High, Jessica High, DeLany Willis, and Brooklyn Willis, and two Great-grandchildren, Gavin and Taylor High. The Family suggests that memorials be made to the League of the Good Samaritan C/O Magnolia Manor 2001 South Lee Street, Americus, GA 31709, or Alzheimers Association, 1512-1 Gillionville Rd, Albany, Ga. 31707. .
