Mitchell Austin Pinnell, age 22, of 204 Patton Dr., died Saturday, May 24, 2014. A native of Columbia, SC, he was born January 9, 1992, the son of Stephen and Deborah Pinnell. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Americus and graduated from High School in 2010. He was an artist and loved playing tennis. He also was a jokester and loved to make people smile. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30, 2014, at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Flowers officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to SB&T Bank, 201 E. Lamar St., Americus, GA 31709 in Memory of Mitchell Pinnell or to any facility that is for addiction. Survivors include his mother and father, Deborah and Stephen Pinnell of Americus; maternal grandparents, Linda Auerhamer of Batesburg SC and Charles and Diane Cochran of Batesburg, SC; paternal grandparents, Jeryl and Marian Pinnell of Americus; two sisters, Mallory Diane Pinnell of Sandy Springs and Jennifer Elizabeth Pinnell of Americus; a brother, Jonathon Daniel Pinnell of Americus; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wyman Auerhamer and his paternal great grandmother, Evelyn Parker. Cemetery: Oak Grove Cemetery
