Miriam Bass Williams, age 62, of Americus passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her residence. She was born June 4, 1959 to the late Fred and Joanne Bass. Miriam retired from the U.S. Postal service. She was Methodist by faith and a member of Leslie United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be Monday, July 19, 2021 at Leslie City Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Survivors include a daughter, Ashley(Alex) Arizmendi of Ellaville; brother, Freddie(Frances) Bass of Leslie; three sisters, Jo Bass of Leslie, Pam(Wayne) Kennedy of Leslie, and Karen(James) Simons of Leesburg; and three grandchildren Nathan Varnum, Jessica James, and Evangeline Arizmendi. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandchild Jase Davenport.
