Michael Thomas Morris, age 34, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022. A native of Americus, he was born March 30, 1988. Michael was a truck driver for many years, most recently driving for GFL Environmental. He was a baptized member of Williams Road Church of Christ, was a free spirit and loved his family. He was always there to help others.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Williams Road Church of Christ with Minister Keith Wishum officiating.

Survivors include his parents Lewis and Nancy Morris of Americus; brothers and their wives: Vic and Charlotte Morris of Montgomery, AL., Tony and Shelly Morris of Americus, and Howard Helms of Americus; sisters and their spouses: Amy and Paul Ross of Blue Ridge, GA., Sylvia Helms of Americus, Kathy and Andy Flanigan of Nolensville, TN., and Annie and Scott Bellavia of Dayton, OH.; nieces and nephews, Jason & Karen Ross, Jessica Ross, Molly & Colton Taunton, Susie Morris, Scott Morris, Will Flanigan, Sophie Flanigan, Evan Flanigan, Oliver Flanigan, Hudson Bellavia, Lillie Bellavia, and Gabe Bellavia; also surviving are great nieces and nephews, Joseph Ross, Jacob Ross, Morgan Ross, Caroline Taunton, and Everly Hughes.
