Michael Rudolph Barnett, age 62, of Hawkinsville, GA, died at his residence on May 23, 2021. Michael was born April 16, 1959 to the late Grady and Marilyn Barnett. Michael was Head of Security at Perry Hospital. He was Baptist by faith. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 28, 2021, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel, with Brother Steve Golden officiating. Mr. Barnett is survived by his wife Brenda Barnett; son, Michael Payne; daughter, Erin Caskey; step son John Porter; two brothers, Grady and Lisa Barnett, Jr. and Patrick and Lynice Barnett; two sisters, Diane Selph and Irish Jo and Jim Gandy; also surviving are six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to St. Jude, 5901 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd. Atlanta, GA. 30328.
