Mattie Mae Davis, 84, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Mattie was born on May 29, 1940 in Richland, GA to the late Willie Harris & Clarice Huddleston Harris. She was retired from the Stewart County Sheriff's office after 37 years as the Communication Dispatcher. Mattie enjoyed talking and visiting with her family and friends. She loved fishing, cooking, going out to eat and she was a big Trump fan. Mattie loved her children and grandchildren very much and will be missed by many.

Graveside services will be held at Red Hill Cemetery Monday, June 10, 2024 at 11:00AM with Brother Robert Orr officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Red Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include her sons Tony (L) Davis of Dalton, GA, Tim (Traci) Davis of Preston, GA; her grandchildren Hiram Davis, Charles Davis and Canaan Davis

She was preceded in death by her parents Willie Harris and Clarice Huddleston Harris, her brothers Walter Harris, Bill Harris & Edward Harris, her sisters Elizabeth Sanders, Myrtice Lipsey, Faye James, and Cheryl Vaughn
