Mary Kathryn Thomas, age 92, of Americus, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Perfect Care. Kathryn was born September 6, 1929 to the late John Littleton Barney Usry, Jr. and Thelma Lucille Willis Usry. She was a Jehovah's witness by faith and a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. All services will be private. She leaves behind a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce & Myriam Thomas of Zephyrhill, FL.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda & Willie Whitehead of Jackson, MS., and Kay & Alan Flood of Rutledge, TN.; two sisters, Jean Hancock of Americus and Brenda Todd of Ellaville; three grandchildren, Joey Davis, Travis Davis, and Candy Whitehead; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Bill W. Thomas; four brothers, Harold Usry, Calvin Usry, Eugene Usry, and Bobby Lynn Usry; and two sisters, Theodosia Ybarra and Mildred Dobbs.
