Mary Jewel Mask, age 94, of 114 Sullivan Dr., died early this morning, Friday, January 30, 2015, at her residence. A native of Ellaville, she was born August 6, 1920, the daughter of the late William and Eva Devane Robinson. She was a devoted church member of Lee Street United Methodist Church where she served in the nursery. She also was a den mother for the Cub Scouts. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 3:00 PM, at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Betty Lou Miller officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Phoebe Sumter Hospice, P. O. Box 1434, Americus, Ga. 31709 or to Lee Street United Methodist Church, 1102 S. Lee St., Americus, GA 31709. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Evianne and Gary Johnson of Americus; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerald Mask of Holly Springs and Tim and Donna Mask of Vestavia Hills, AL.; three sisters, Jo Bankston of Hartswell, Christine Callaghan of Covington and Mozelle Dean of LaFayette, AL; a sister-in-law, Marie Robinson f Hampton, VA.; three grandchildren, John Mask, Beth Mask and Kayla Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Mask. Cemetery: Oak Grove Cemetery
