Mary Elisabeth Booth Allmon, age 62, died at her residence, Wednesday June 24, 2015. A native of Cobb County, Mrs. Allmon was the daughter of the late Ralph Justice Booth, Sr. and Iris Cleapor Booth of Eatonton who survives her. She was a Special Education Paroprofessional for twenty years with the Sumter County School System. She was a loving wife, enjoyed reading, loved her church and close circle of family and friends. She loved the Lord and demonstrated it through her love for others. Mrs. Allmon cared deeply for the children in the school system that she worked with. She was a member of Life Point Church of God. A visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm, Thursday June 25,2015 at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Life Point Church of God with Bro. Bud Womack and Rev. Chris Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to Life Point Church of God, 384 Hwy 30 West, Americus, Ga. 31719 or to Living Water Church, 13022 East Hwy 27, Newville, Al. 36353. Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Alan Linwood Allmon of Americus; sons and daughters-in-law, Brandon and Talena Smith of Zebulon; Bryan Smith and Caroline Barry of Baltimore, Maryland; William Allmon of Americus; Austin and Mandy Allmon of Athens. Sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine and John Walden of Conyers; Jeannette and Jimmy Trawick of Echo, Al; Shirley Fordham of Eatonton; Becky and Dennis Silberg of Jamestown, ND; Annie Heinzmann of Pompano Beach, Florida. Brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Pansie Booth, Jr of Ellijay. Two grandchildren,Kadence Smith and Amelia Smith and special friends, Carla Stanfield and Cathy Montgomery of Americus also survive.
