Martha Fears, age 91, of 1681 Winchester Highway, Fayetteville, TN, died at Donalson Care Center in Fayetteville, TN, Wednesday, November 18, 2015. A native of St. Joseph, Mo., she was born October 29, 1924, the daughter of the late Bert and Hazel Newkirk. Mrs. Fears was a homemaker and a charter member of Lee Street United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015, at 3:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel prior to the service Sunday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Southern Manor Living Centers of Fayetteville, 115 Medical Center Blvd., Fayetteville, TN 37334 or the charity of one's choice. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Kirk Johnson of Gallatin, TN; and a son and daughter-in-law, Harold K. and Ann Fears, Jr. of Huntsville, AL; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
