Mr. Luther Cecil Lashley, age 85, of Cobb, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Cordele Health & Rehab Center in Cordele, Georgia.

Born in Wilcox County, he was the son of the late Luther Lashley and Mary Bertie Britt Lashley. Mr. Lashley worked as a pecan broker for Easterlin before retiring. He was a long-time member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Cobb. Known for his outgoing and friendly nature, he loved fishing, hunting, and playing cards.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mariann Lavender Lashley; one son, Steve Lashley (Dawn Lashley); three grandchildren, Nikki Lashley, Sara Lashley, and Kelly Pantone (Billy Pantone); and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Gary Lashley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jeff Lashley. His brothers John Wayne Lashley, Earl Lacey, Lonnie Lacey, and James Lacey.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Baptist Church in Cobb, Georgia, with Pastor Bryan Bentley officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
