Lora Ellen Wiseman, age 54, of Americus, died at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany Saturday, December 2, 2017. A native of Anchorage, Alaska, she was born March 18, 1963, to Myrtle Stanford Adkins and the late Norlie Willis Williams. Lora was employed at South Georgia Technical College as an Adjunct Instructor. She was very artistic and enjoyed drawing. She loved being outdoors, at the beach and the mountains. Lora could light up the room with her humor and personality. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Leslie City Cemetery with Rev. Robert Orr officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Paula Ann Williams. Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Jeff Wiseman of Americus; her mother, Myrtle Stanford Adkins of Plains; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Faye and Jimmy Wiseman of Richland; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Paula Ann Williams of Americus and Brenda and Julian Wells of Buena Vista; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jason and Angie Wiseman of Leesburg, Wesley Wiseman of Richland and David and Donna Wiseman of Knoxville, TN.; and several nieces and nephews.
