Mrs. Lois Dairlene DeVane, age 91, of Americus, died at Perfect Care on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Mrs. DeVane was a native of Schley County born the daughter of the late Thomas and Berta Benford. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, the Americus Civitan Club, Sumter Civic Fair Association, and a volunteer for the Rylander Theater. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with Rev. Hugh DeLoach and Dr. Bryan Myers officiating, with burial in Andersonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. Mrs. DeVane is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Ron Ridgeway, of Atlanta, GA and Becky and Dick Raney, of Brookhaven, GA, one step daughter, Susan Deriso, of Marietta, GA, one son, Douglas Holloway and Beth, of Leslie, GA, and one step son Bill and Vanessa DeVane, of Swainsboro, GA. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Amber Hagood, Nathan Ridgeway, Matthew C. Morris, Melissa K. Morris, Kari Holloway, Tyler Hunt, Rebecca Wood, Cason DeVane, David Deriso, and Natalie Murphy, and eleven great-grandchildren.
