Preston, Ga.-Lisa Blanton Morgan 60, of Preston died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at her home. A memorial service will be held at Bland Baptist Church in Louvale on Saturday, September 8th at 2:00 pm. Lisa was born April 20, 1958 to the late James NeSmith Blanton Sr. and the late Annette Weathers Blanton. She was a graduate of Greenfield Academy in Weston, Ga. and also of the nursing program at Georgia Southwestern College in Americus, Ga., and was a former home health nurse in Richland, Ga. Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, Edgar Alex Morgan; a daughter, Heather Dawn Morgan; two brothers, Jimmy Blanton of Carabelle, FL (Helen); Eddy Blanton of Cordele (Lucile); and two sisters, Toni Blanton Chandler and Karen Blanton Pate (Dave), both of Louvale. Also surviving are eleven nieces and nephews, sixteen great-nieces and great-nephews, thirteen great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, with one on the way; and many cousins. Lisa was truly loved by all and will be forever missed! In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an older sister, Elizabeth Blanton Eubanks of Richland, Ga. (Jimmy).
