Lisa Montgomery, age 57, of Americus, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A native of Myrtle Beach, SC but raised in Richland, GA; Mrs. Montgomery was born February 14, 1963 to the late George and Sara Alston. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; who loved her grandchildren dearly. Lisa was employed at Magnolia Manor for over 13 years. She enjoyed helping her residents. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, antique junking, and being a MiMi to her grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her husband of 34 years Bob Montgomery of Americus; one son, Anthony "Tony" Montgomery of Americus; two daughters, Brandi(Robbie) Raybon of Kathleen and Kesha(Glenn) Howard of Ellaville; two sisters, Neva Carter of Americus and Joy Cromer of Americus; two grandchildren, JoDee "Bugg" Howard and Reagan "RayRay" Raybon In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Robby Alston.
