Larry Eugene Stuckey, age 75, of Andersonville, died Friday, October 20, 2017, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. A native of Ellaville, he was born October 18, 1942, the son of the late Lewis and Margaret Stuckey. Mr. Stuckey was a member of Andersonville United Methodist Church and was the owner and operator of Stuckey Upholstery since 1962. He loved his family and working in his yard. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 23, 2017, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chris Wooden officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel from 2:00 until 4:00 PM. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Andersonville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 15, Andersonville, GA 31711. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marie Stuckey of Andersonville; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Donnie Wooden of Andersonville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Bridgett Stuckey of Andersonville and Michael and Angela Stuckey of Andersonville; two sisters, Dot Crook of Americus and Peggy Ragacho of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Buddy and Sally Stuckey of Americus and Roy and Clotilde Stuckey of Panama City, FL.; fourteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Stuckey.
