Larry Lee Dupree, age 78, of Americus, passed away Friday, January 03, 2020 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus. He was born on August 06, 1941 in Sumter County. He loved being with his family. He enjoyed putting together model cars. He was Methodist by faith. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Rev. William Hall officiating. Visitation will be held at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel from 6:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, January 5, 2020. Survivors include his wife Margie Crook Dupree; one son, Larry Curtis Dupree of Ellaville; two daughters, Janice(Tommy) Kendrick of Ellaville and Julie Smith of Americus; Three grandchildren: Rebecca Dupree, Deena(Chance) Israel, and Christopher Smith. Mr. Dupree was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Fannie Dupree and a sister, Gloria Dupree.
