Kathryn Elaine "Kathy" Miller, age 66, of Plains, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia.

A lifelong resident of Plains, Kathy was born on January 21, 1959, to the late Jonathan Ozith "J.O." Richardson and Kathryn Glenda Story. She was a devoted caregiver who poured her heart into nurturing others, always putting the needs of her loved ones first. Kathy had a gift for making a house a home. Her greatest joy came from her husband, children and grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure.

She spent her life selflessly serving others, whether through her work as a caregiver or her loving presence within the family. Her kindness, warm heart, and steadfast spirit will be always remembered.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Miller of Plains; son, Joshua "Josh" Miller; daughter, Stephanie (Tank) Tanner; grandchildren, Clayton Tanner and Shelby Tanner; brother, Jonathan "JonBoy" (Wendy) Richardson; sister, Rita (Jerry) Timmerman; and her best friend, Tammy Bush. She was preceded in death by her father, J.O. and sister, Nora Jean McInnis.

A Private service will be held at a later date.
