Joyce Y. Martin-Calton, 81, of Preston died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her home. A native of Tennessee, she was born June 26, 1937 to the late Chester Martin and Maude Ayers Martin. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Monday, February 25th at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Survivors include her three daughters and two sons-in-law: Vickie Singley of Americus; Rita and Marvin Woods of Round Rock, TX, and Lisa and George Jones of Toano, VA. Also surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Willa Dean Martin of Dixon, TN; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James C. Calton; and a brother, William Martin. Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
